Don't Go in the Woods (1981)

Plot

A group of four friends ventures into the serene mountains of Utah for a hiking trip, blissfully unaware of the danger that surrounds them. As they traverse the dense forest, a mysterious killer stalks them, while the town's indifferent sheriff dismisses the rising body count as bear attacks. With each passing moment, the friends become increasingly isolated and vulnerable, ignoring the dangers closing in around them. As tension mounts, they must confront the reality that they are not alone in the woods, and their idyllic getaway is quickly turning into a fight for survival.
