Plot
Set in 1950s America, Andy grapples with the emotional weight of his mother's institutionalization and his father's stoic demeanor. When Dr. Wallace Fiennes, a family friend, offers him a job as a photographer, Andy jumps at the opportunity to document a tour of an asylum. The tour aims to promote Fiennes' increasingly contentious lobotomy procedure, thrusting Andy into a world where ethical boundaries blur. As he navigates this complex environment, his growing awareness of the human cost of such treatments forces him to confront his own repressed feelings and the realities of his family’s struggles.
