The fate of the princes in the Tower rests with Richard, who views them as a danger to his rule and a hindrance to Margaret's ambition for her son, Henry Tudor, to ascend the throne. As Margaret schemes for their elimination, Anne grapples with the dread that her actions may have inadvertently led to their doom. Meanwhile, Elizabeth, hidden away in sanctuary, is appalled to discover that she has allied herself with her foes and resorts to witchcraft to exact vengeance on those responsible.
