After a series of bizarre incidents targeting students at Mali-U, Jerry recruits Sam, Clover, and Alex to investigate. They wonder if there's any connection between the attacks and the fact that the victims are all athletes. Meanwhile, in a subplot, Alex gets chosen to be the school's new mascot. However, instead of donning an adorable mermaid outfit, she finds herself stuck in a costume resembling a can of dolphin-safe tuna!
