Episode Overview
Dorie Russell is eagerly anticipating the arrival of her quintuplets, all five of whom are girls. While her husband appears more anxious, Dorie is determined to carry them to 36 weeks. The hospital staff is on high alert since three of the babies are facing various complications. Meanwhile, Meredith's one-night stand from the previous night arrives at the hospital suffering from priapism, prompting the need to call Derek Shepherd for a consult, which leaves Meredith feeling quite awkward. Alex and Derek are also tending to a patient whose tumor causes excessive thirst. On the romantic front, Alex and Izzie are experiencing some intimacy issues, while Meredith continues to engage in casual flings, and Cristina is thrown off balance by being "keyed."
