Meredith and Cristina both deceive each other and themselves regarding their romances with McDreamy and Burke. George faces a challenging situation as he attempts to remove a rebellious patient who has been discharged from the hospital. Meanwhile, Alex discovers the results of his medical exams after retaking them. Izzie is determined to prevent Alex from making reckless choices, especially when a non-English speaking patient is misled by her coach. In the midst of all this, George, Cristina, and Alex find themselves in a competitive hot dog eating contest.
