Episode Overview
Following Izzie's affair with George, he appears to have no memory of their encounter. Callie informs him about their dinner plans with her father, but George makes a poor impression due to his hangover from the previous night. Meanwhile, Alex assists Jane Doe in deciding on her new appearance after Mark Sloan's reconstructive surgery, offering her insight into how she will be perceived moving forward. As the hospital board interviews candidates for the Chief position, Colin Marlow's ambitious ten-year plan intimidates everyone. However, with Bailey's guidance, Mark manages to sway the board in his favor, despite Derek, Burke, and Addison's longstanding presence at the hospital. Izzie confides in Addison about her affair, expressing that being with George felt right, even though he is married. Additionally, Mark takes Meredith under his wing for the day to impress the Chief, sparking Derek's disapproval as he views Mark's actions as manipulative.
