Episode Overview
George's father faces a critical heart condition that necessitates surgery, and George decides to trust Burke with the operation. Although Burke feels uncertain about his capabilities under such pressure, Cristina reassures him that the team can manage. Meanwhile, Derek and Meredith are working on rekindling their relationship, while Derek attempts to maintain a more amicable relationship with Addison. In another storyline, a patient undergoes numerous cosmetic surgeries to win his girlfriend's affection. Additionally, a mother is adamant about getting her daughter's babysitter fired after the girl is admitted with multiple injuries, but the daughter prefers the babysitter over her own mother.
