Episode Overview

An elderly man arrives at the E.R. for heart issues and is surprised to spot an old flame, also in the hospital for a broken arm. The hospital staff becomes engrossed in their heartwarming reunion. At the same time, Karev is caring for a troubled teen (guest star Demi Lovato) whose parents have brought her in due to concerns about schizophrenia. Meanwhile, Meredith shares her doubts about Owen with Cristina, which leads to confusion and turmoil in Cristina’s mind.
