The medical team attempts to connect with Bailey, but she remains distant and unresponsive. Following an unsettling episode involving Ethan's grandmother, Owen grows increasingly worried that the boy might be placed in foster care. At Grey Sloan Memorial Hospital, a new craniofacial specialist starts working with a young patient in need of care. In another part of the hospital, an assistant from a magic show is brought into the ER after a trick takes a disastrous turn.
