Jim asks Elaine to join him at a concert, where they unexpectedly meet a significant supporter of Elaine's art gallery. The patron extends an invitation for them to attend a party, but Elaine is anxious about Jim potentially making a scene at such a crucial event for her career. Despite her concerns, she struggles to tell him not to come.
