Episode Overview

Latka and Simka bring their friend Zifka, a silent monk from their homeland, to meet Elaine. Zifka, who rarely speaks due to his vow of silence, is temporarily allowed a week every ten years to enjoy life's pleasures. During this brief time, he and Elaine develop a deep connection, much to Alex’s chagrin. However, as the week comes to a close, Zifka must return to his silence just before he can confess his feelings for Elaine. While heartbroken, Elaine accepts his departure with grace, understanding the nature of his commitment.
