Episode Overview
Phyllis, Alex’s ex-wife, arrives feeling despondent and isolated. Out of sympathy, Alex invites her into his holiday festivities. However, things take a turn for the worse as her constant sadness begins to drag everyone down. In a surprising twist, her Christmas gift to Alex is her promise not to disturb him during New Year's, which ultimately becomes the most thoughtful present she could offer.
