On a June Sunday night in 2007, Christian Marton and his girlfriend, Monica Stafford, made a two-hour drive from Axtell, Texas, to Dallas, where Christian planned to purchase a 1995 Chevrolet Caprice. Tragically, by the end of the night, Christian was shot and killed during an attempted robbery.
