In 2008, Mohamed Abdelrahman, a Darfurian immigrant, was fatally shot in his shop during a robbery. Detective Arnold arrested three individuals in connection with his murder. Mohamed’s widow anxiously observes the proceedings, fearing that the jury might acquit the men accused of her husband’s death.
