Episode Overview

In Miami, Florida, 25-year-old Pedro Roteta is brutally stabbed in broad daylight and left to succumb to his injuries. Although there’s video evidence of the attack and a confession, the defense tries to invoke the contentious "Stand Your Ground" law in hopes of securing immunity. Will the judge allow the accused to walk free? Meanwhile, in Dallas, Texas, a man is murdered in an alley, and the primary suspect vanishes across the border into Mexico. After four years evading capture, the alleged killer is apprehended and asserts it was self-defense. Will a jury believe his claim?
