Episode Overview

When a well-known local figure in Louisville is killed during a drug transaction, detectives Brenda Wescott and John Lesher spring into action to find the murderer. Lashawn “Shizz” Talbert, famous for his dance move “The Shizz,” was killed in August 2010 after being driven by club promoter David Curd to meet a dealer named Kenneth Brown in a secluded area. Brown alleged that Talbert had robbed him at gunpoint. As the investigation unfolds, detectives uncover Curd's involvement, and in a post-trial interview, Brown asserts he acted in self-defense.
