Episode Overview

Four days before Christmas in 2013, a single mother of five is shot twice and left in an East Cleveland street, where her killer runs her over. As the case unfolds, the victim's husband shifts from being a grieving partner to the prime suspect. During the trial, his defense team challenges the investigation, arguing that the state hastily reached a conclusion without any witnesses to support their case. The victim's family is left reeling when they uncover a troubling secret about the husband's past that complicates the situation even further.
