PC Chris Swash is on a mission with his team to track down a dangerous group of burglars. In a frantic bid to evade capture, the criminals crash their vehicle and take off on foot. At the same time, PC Ian Cosgrove faces a crisis on the motorway when a van loses a wheel, sending it flying across the central reservation and colliding with an approaching car.
