A boastful and prosperous businessman feels sympathy for an old college buddy who has fallen on hard times and decides to offer him a job. During their conversation, he carelessly divulges how he has been skimming money from the government in taxes. In hindsight, it seems he would have been wiser to keep that information to himself.
