Eager to date the attractive Carlos, Kelly convinces a hesitant Bud to entertain Carlos's cousin, Esmeralda, by promising him a date with Fawn. To Bud's surprise, Esmeralda is just as appealing as he hoped. Meanwhile, Al and Peg head off to a marriage retreat with Ephraim and Peggy's unseen mother in tow.
