S01E19 The Ghost of Nero
Episode Overview
On October 23, 1915, Tony and Doug find themselves in the Italian-Austrian Alps just as German forces prepare their assault. An explosion knocks them unconscious, revealing the sarcophagus of Emperor Nero. In a shocking twist, Nero’s sword emerges and fatally strikes a German soldier. They awaken beneath Count Galba's villa, where he claims to protect them as American allies against the Germans. However, the vengeful spirit of Nero seeks revenge on Galba, whose ancestor was responsible for his demise. Possession strikes both a German soldier and Tony. Fortunately, the Time Tunnel team, with Dr. Steinholtz’s guidance, uses a powerful electrical surge to rescue Tony. They inadvertently pull Nero's ghost into the present but manage to send him back.
