Episode Overview
The group finds themselves in South Dakota on June 24, 1876, close to Little Bighorn. They are captured by a Native American tribe, but Doug manages to flee to Custer's camp, where his story is met with disbelief. Meanwhile, Tony attempts to alert Sitting Bull about the impending conflict. Just as the tribe prepares to execute Tony, Sitting Bull steps in, recognizing his courage. A duel decides Tony's fate, and although he defeats Yellow Elk, he spares his life. Tony urges Sitting Bull to seek a diplomatic resolution with Custer, but Crazy Horse doubts the idea. Sitting Bull permits Tony to deliver a peace message, but Custer dismisses it and imprisons both men. They escape, only to witness the tragic events leading to Custer's defeat.
