Episode Overview
In 1874, Lt. Colonel George dispatched Custer on a reconnaissance mission to the Black Hills, where he allegedly discovered gold. This ignited a gold rush, leading settlers to invade sacred Native American territories and triggering a war. In response to the conflict, Custer commanded his troops in the poorly strategized Battle of Little Bighorn, where he famously met his end. Before the clash, rumors circulated about treasures—gold coins, cash, and other riches—left on the battlefield. After the battle, Scott pieces together clues indicating that Chief Two Moons, who led the tribes against Custer, may have plundered the fallen. On his deathbed, he hinted at the treasure's hidden location. Can Scott uncover the whereabouts of Custer's lost fortune?
