Episode Overview
Sam is feeling frustrated and distracted, prompting Lizzie to suggest a visit to Dr. Feelgood. The doctor prescribes medication for her anxiety and depression, which Sam resents, insisting she only needs help concentrating. Lizzie connects her with Pill Pusher Patty, who trades some stimulants for Sam's prescription. The pills turn Sam into a productivity powerhouse. When she runs out, she arranges to meet Patty at a house party she’s attending with Lizzie. There, Lizzie's ex, Drew, and Richard are also present. Sam skips over Richard to find Patty, gets her pills, and then returns to a drunken Richard, taking him home with her. Meanwhile, Lizzie discovers Drew is upset about his new girlfriend's infidelity, and she can't resist rubbing it in, which only further depresses him. He retreats to a bedroom, where Patty finds and comforts him with sex. Lizzie stumbles upon this scene, realizing she's the only one who hasn't hooked up. Back
