Episode Overview

Lizzie and Sam head to a gay bar with Tyler, where they argue about Sam’s attraction to men who aren't available. Lizzie ends up flirting with Mark, a gay guy, and gets tipsy; he takes her home, and they sleep together. When Lizzie shares the story with Sam, they both contemplate how to figure out if a guy is gay or straight. Sam is intrigued by Devon, a new co-worker, but struggles to read his signals from their chats and his online activity. They throw a launch party at a tattoo parlor for Fiona's photo book, and Sam invites Tyler along to gauge Devon's interest. However, even Tyler can't decipher him. Meanwhile, Tyler surprises everyone by hooking up with the sassy Fiona in a back room. As the party wraps up, Sam directly asks Devon about his sexuality, but he only hints that he's involved with someone named "Chris," leaving things ambiguous. Lizzie finally learns that Mark is actually straight and pretends to be gay
