Sae decides to skip a day of school, and the following day, Kamishiro sustains an injury during club practice, prompting him to take a break as well. While sharing their notebooks to help each other stay updated on what they missed, they start communicating through messages. A minor event makes Kamishiro suspect that Sae has feelings for someone. Oblivious to her actual emotions, he urges her to pursue that person.
