Episode Overview

Michael is determined to stir things up at school by bringing in his former student Linda Radleigh as the new Head of English. However, Linda quickly finds herself preoccupied with monitoring Emily, who sneaks out to visit her sister on her prison release day. At the same time, Chalky’s infatuation with Janeece leads him to join Jez's lunchtime workout group, while Michael attempts to bond with Sian over a drink late at night. Sarah Hadland, known from Miranda, joins the cast.
