Michael's last day of term takes a turn for the worse when he discovers a menacing note left on his car dashboard. Meanwhile, Jez's unexpected appearance at the staff briefing derails any chances of focusing on the prize-giving. Grantly informs a shaken Michael that Jez plans to lodge a formal complaint with the governors regarding his affair with Sian. Tensions escalate when Jez pulls Madi and Zack out of class to head to Ireland. As they leave, Wayne sneaks into the school, intent on revenge, giving Michael the opportunity to confront his stalker. Meanwhile, Em desperately tries to stop Scout from moving away with her foster parents, while Ronan and Vicki bid farewell to Waterloo Road and each other.
