Episode Overview

Tariq is having a tough time coming to terms with his disability, which raises concerns among his friends. When he's pushed to join a fight against students from Havelock High, he turns it down, stating that life is too precious to waste. Things take a turn when he learns his friends will be present at his kayaking trials, prompting him to persuade Phoenix and Gus to set up a confrontation with their rivals. Meanwhile, Tom and Michael find themselves in a race against the clock as Tariq's real motives come to light. Additionally, rival headmaster Gerard Findlay tries to tarnish Michael's reputation by plastering an old article about his past around the school, but Grantly catches him in the act.
