Sam delves into a string of murders that closely resemble the techniques of a killer, Benjamin Mouton, whom Bailey incarcerated a decade ago. Convinced that the actual perpetrator is still at large, Sam uses her unique intuition to uncover hints in the ancient practice of I Ching divination. Her investigation points her toward a high-ranking military official, Carmen Argenziano, who might be shielding the true murderer, Ian Patrick Williams.
