Episode Overview
After the main suspect in the 'Old Acquaintance' murder case is discovered dead, Sam (Ally Walker) suspects one of her friends, either Greg or Monica, might be the murderer. Meanwhile, a critically injured Jack manages to escape to his hideout to recover from being shot by Sam. As she hunts for Jack and the killer of her friends, Sam begins to feel the weight of the situation pressing down on her. Frances (Heather McComb) tries to celebrate her birthday by seducing John (Julian McMahon), but the attempt backfires, prompting John to call Sam to take the rebellious teen back to her father. This results in a heartfelt conversation between Sam and Frances, where Frances reveals a painful part of her past.
