Episode Overview
Title: Burnt Offerings Plot: Sam and his team set out to track down a mystic arsonist terrorizing Atlanta. He deduces that the suspect may be putting himself in peril by igniting the blazes firsthand. A misleading clue involving a photographer frequently present at the fire scenes leads them astray. However, they soon uncover graffiti in Farsi on the walls of the charred buildings that translates to ‘fire god.’ It becomes clear that the arsonist is searching for a ‘chosen one’ who is fireproof to guide him to the afterlife to reunite with his late wife. Meanwhile, Sam grows increasingly concerned for Chloe, who becomes emotionally distant after a classmate falls victim to one of the fires.
