In "My Cold Shower," J.D. attempts to connect with Melody, Elliot's sorority sister, but she only wants to kiss him without any deeper involvement. Simultaneously, Keith proposes to Elliot again, especially after she strives to create an ideal situation for their relationship. Meanwhile, the rest of the staff indulges in daydreams about marrying Elliot. On another front, Elliot and Carla face a challenge as they try to diagnose two elderly patients presenting identical symptoms, yet lacking any clear link between them.
