Episode Overview
Peter dreams of owning a Triumph Herald Convertible, just like the one his father gifted him when he learned to drive. However, these cars are now rare and often in bad shape. Can Sheldon find a decent one within the £9k budget? He manages to locate a well-preserved model with only three previous owners, but trouble strikes before it even reaches the workshop when all the gears fail. Additionally, a significant oil leak from the rear axle means the differential must be removed, and the original split windows in the convertible top can’t be replaced. Bodywork expert Peter faces the daunting task of replacing the entire roof. As expenses pile up, will their efforts pay off, or will they end up with nothing?
