Grammi and Tummi set out to feed a group of enormous birds that have just arrived back from their winter migration. However, their peaceful outing quickly turns into a rescue mission when they discover Igthorn is on the hunt, aiming to capture these majestic creatures to train as war steeds. Amidst the chaos, they also find themselves caring for a young bird that needs their help.
