Episode Overview
After spotting Mikoto with her wild bedhead, Ayuko decides to transform her look with a stylish new hairstyle. Mikoto quickly becomes the center of attention, igniting a spark of jealousy in Akira. On their way home, Akira persuades Mikoto to revert to her old look, playfully tousling her hair as she agrees. The following day, Ayuko confronts Mikoto about the change, leading her to realize she actually enjoys the tousled style. Meanwhile, Akira grows annoyed when a male student begins selling photos of Mikoto's new hairstyle. He discovers an idol, Momoko Imai, who resembles Mikoto and impulsively buys her photobook. When Mikoto learns of this from Ayuko, who got the scoop from Kouhei, she demands Akira return the book and destroys it, insisting he should appreciate the real thing.
