During the Thornberrys' visit to Nigel's friend Jomo, they embark on a quest to find an elephant named Rebecca, whom Nigel rescued two decades ago. While the family works to free an elephant trapped in a mud pit, Eliza forms a special connection with Rebecca, only to discover that the elderly elephant is nearing the end of her life.
