The team faces a challenging case when a man experiences a series of complications from amyl nitrite use, requiring several surgeries. Alan tries to spin the patient's situation positively, but it strains believability. Meanwhile, Geri and Jeffrey reconcile, and Camille starts to think about getting plastic surgery after Aaron experiences performance anxiety during their first date since getting back together. Jeffrey agrees to help Laurie with the Christmas concert at the Institute, but the mounting pressure begins to take a toll on her fragile mental state. Danny and Maggie can't keep their hands off one another, while Jeffrey opens up to Camille about his worries regarding Laurie's health and its impact on his life.
