Austin takes matters into his own hands by spraying a process server with mace, igniting a rebellion among his fellow servers against the hospital. Meanwhile, Hancock finds himself counseling a woman in her forties whose life is at risk due to her pregnancy; she adamantly insists on carrying the baby to term despite the dangers. In a surprising turn, Kronk makes his way back to Chicago, donning traditional Masai attire, and seeks to rekindle his relationship with Diane.
