Friday the 13th: The Series (1987)

Episode Overview

Atticus Rook, an antiques collector, discovers a lucrative market selling newly made artifacts from the Civil War era. However, these items are not what they seem; Rook uses a cursed "magic lantern," powered by a victim's blood, to travel back in time for three hours. Ryan and Micki pursue him, but Ryan gets captured while attempting to spy on Lee, the target of Rook's scheme. Abigail, a local woman, comes to Ryan's aid but pays the ultimate price when Rook kills her. In the end, Micki helps Ryan escape, and they return to the present, extinguishing the lantern just as Rook emerges, meeting a gruesome fate trapped in a wall where the image was projected.
