Meanwhile, Walt seeks relief from his depression through sunlight therapy with his light glasses, but soon he becomes overly reliant on them, prompting Chris and Holling to stage an intervention. When a herd of caribou obstructs Main Street, the mayor steps in to address the situation. While Joel is at the airport cabin with Maggie, enjoying a streak of good luck during a storm, his day takes a turn when Ed arrives unexpectedly.
