Episode Overview
After consuming a mystical orange juice infused with Indian folk medicine, Joel embarks on a spiritual adventure in New York City, exploring an alternate version of his life. Alongside his wife Shelly, a corporate lawyer, they host a dinner party where Maurice serves as their doorman, Eugene operates the elevator, and Maggie cares for their children as an au pair. Bernard is involved in the fashion industry, while Chris struggles to express himself as a fashion photographer. Ed is a corporate raider, Ruth-Anne oversees the medical partnership Joel aspires to join, and Holling, a singer, grapples with agoraphobia. As the evening unfolds, they gradually morph into their Cicelian counterparts.
