Episode Overview

Joel discovers a map that leads to a legendary city and invites Maggie to join him on the adventure. Along the way, they encounter a hostile gatekeeper, and when they reach a fork in the road, Joel envisions his future and chooses to leave. Meanwhile, Phil attempts to clear some stubborn earwax from Chris's ears, but when Chris suffers damage to his inner ear, he retaliates by suing Phil for malpractice. In another storyline, Maurice informs Holling that Michelle is working on a piece about restaurants for Alaska Highways magazine, yet she struggles to find anything flattering to say about the Brick’s cuisine.
