In Mexico City, a newlywed couple faces a nightmare when they are mugged and taken hostage at gunpoint. The captors transport them to an isolated area, where they are bound and subjected to violence. Seizing a fleeting chance, the wife cleverly escapes by climbing a tall tree to conceal herself. Meanwhile, her husband desperately navigates the streets, knocking on doors in search of assistance to survive this harrowing experience and to locate his wife, hoping against hope that she is still safe.
