Fifteen-year-old Pvt. Putnam (Putt) has run away and pretends to be older while hiding his status as a novice soldier. When a friend reveals his true age to Hanley, Putt starts to panic, putting himself and the Sergeant in serious danger. Ultimately, it's Putt's passion that turns the tide and saves the day.
