Episode Overview
Title: The Real Thing Plot: Heather, a magazine editor, is eager to tie the knot and secretly hopes to marry Ben, who is set to wed her close friend Jenny. When she shows up at their first date, she disrupts the moment by claiming she’s engaged to Ben. However, Heather quickly realizes that Jenny is truly the one meant for him and decides to call off the wedding before it’s too late. Meanwhile, Carl aspires to be the heavyweight champion but learns that his wife loves him just as he is. After winning his inaugural fight, he intentionally loses the next match to win back her affection. Additionally, an insufferable tabloid journalist named Filner arrives on the island, determined to expose the “real story” of Fantasy Island. He almost uncovers the truth but is unexpectedly abducted by aliens thanks to Roarke’s intervention.
