Episode Overview

Ashley invites her boyfriend Joe to the Island, hoping to showcase her ideal family vacation. To her surprise, she discovers her family has taken on the guise of her “perfect” family. However, things take a turn when Joe starts developing feelings for Ashley's seemingly flawless sister. Meanwhile, frustrated businessman Mike longs to return to a fantasy world to save Katherine from her monstrous husband, who bears an uncanny resemblance to him. This leads Mike to a painful realization about his own behavior toward his wife. In another storyline, Fred wishes for a genie to grant him three wishes. Roarke assigns Ariel the task, and she cleverly twists his first two wishes to undermine him, ultimately baiting Fred into wishing he could do a better job—transforming him into a genie himself.
