After a series of unfortunate incidents derail filmmaker Sam Blockbuster's efforts to finish his Spider-Man film, it comes to light that Mysterio is behind all the chaos. Taking advantage of the situation, Mysterio coerces Blockbuster into casting the genuine Spider-Man as the lead in his own movie through blackmail.
