The Silent Service (2024)

Overview

A collision between a Japanese Maritime Self-Defense Force submarine and a U.S. nuclear sub results in the tragic loss of 76 lives, including Captain Shiro Kaieda. Miraculously, the surviving crew is covertly transferred to the Seabat, a top-secret nuclear submarine developed by Japan and the U.S. But when Kaieda seizes control of the Seabat, armed with nuclear missiles, he sparks a rebellion, taking the vessel on a rogue mission. As tensions rise, the crew must navigate their loyalty and the looming threat of nuclear disaster.
